What data I keep when you use this site, sign up for the newsletter or comment on my Instagram, what for, and how to ask me to delete it.

Who is responsible
Juan Antonio Madueño García, software developer in Málaga (Spain). For anything about your data, email me at hola@jadueno.com.
This website
I count visits with Umami, a self-hosted tool that doesn't use cookies or store personal data. Google Analytics is only enabled if you accept it in the cookie notice, and you can change your mind from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page.
If you write to me through the contact form, what you send (name, email and message) reaches me through Formspree and I only use it to reply to you.
Newsletter
If you sign up, I store your email in MailerLite (EU servers), the service I send the newsletter with. You confirm it in a first email and you can unsubscribe from the link included in every one. I only use it to send you the newsletter.
Instagram comments
My Instagram account (@jadueno.dev) uses Eco, a tool I built that connects to the official Instagram API. Eco reads the comments on my posts and, when someone writes “yo quiero”, replies to the comment and sends them a private message with the newsletter link.
To do that it stores your Instagram username, the comment and post IDs, which reply was sent and when. It needs this so it doesn't reply to you twice. It doesn't read your messages or your profile, doesn't store anything else and doesn't use it for anything else.
The data is kept on my own infrastructure in the EU and is never sold or shared with anyone.
Legal basis
The newsletter and Google Analytics, because you give your consent. The contact form and the “yo quiero” reply, because you ask for it: you write or comment to get an answer.
How long
Your newsletter email, until you unsubscribe. Contact messages, for as long as the conversation lasts. Instagram comment data, until the post is no longer on my profile or you ask me to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it, by emailing hola@jadueno.com. The step-by-step for deletion is in delete your data. If you think I haven't handled it properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
